Tell us a little bit about yourself and your brand.
I have had a successful career for 40 years as a hairstylist and wanted to do something different in my spare time, so I taught myself to knit. I love all things fashion and decided I would specialize in high end knit hats and scarves for the fashion forward clientele. I am based in Portsmouth NH.
What inspired you to start your brand or craft?
A love of working with my hands and creating.
How did you come up with the name of your company?
My girlfriend actually did!!
What’s your favorite part of the job?
The designing of the hat and putting it all together.
When you’re creating do you have a person in mind?
Yes, an urban woman who wants to have a one of a kind hat to stand out in the crowd.
When was your business founded and how has it evolved over time?
It was founded 3 years ago and has grown more than I could imagine. From selling in my local hair salon to boutiques and shows across Boston, Maine and NH.

What's one thing on your bucket list?
I feel I will have made it when I can buy myself a Cartier Love Bracelet, a bucket list purchase for me that I have wanted forever!!
What is one piece of advice you have for a female entrepreneur just starting out?
Do what makes you happy and don't question your talent. If you have a vision, go with it.
